Hello you beautiful humans! My name is Janice, so nice to meet you! I am a year and eight months old and weigh in at 51 pounds. I`m just a big, happy and wiggly gal! I love affection.. like a lot! I know sit, shake and down! See, I`m not just a pretty face, I`m smart too! I also love treats and will always take them ever so nicely from you! I love toys.. all kinds of toys, squishy ones, squeaky ones... ones that you throw, ones that you chew... really I love them all! I`ve been described as a big puppy and I`d have to agree.. who doesn`t love puppies? The only thing I`m not really fond of is cats, so my ideal home wouldn`t have those. It`s hard to meet new people and pets quickly after leaving the shelter. I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a 14 day cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. We`ll have pleanty of time to get to know everyone! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can foster an animal for 2 weeks, slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision.
