Meet Baby Lindsey! She is an active, playful, ever so sweet puppy. Lindsey has had a lot of struggles in her life. She came in so skinny full of fleas & ticks with Parvo and a limp. We were supposed to get her brother too but unfortunately, he passed on transport up. They were sadly in such bad condition. Lindsey spent her first 24 hours at the vet. Despite being so malnourished, sick & injured she was SO HAPPY! Since day 1 this girls spirits have been so good. That limp ended up turning into a leg amputation !! First day back, nothing but a happy, sweet, playful puppy. This girl has known nothing but pain her whole life and now it's time to heal. She is RESILIENT! I don't think she will get over 45 lbs. Shes growing very slowly. She is a total sweetheart with the best disposition you could ask for. She is so good with other dogs and kids. A total gem. She may have 3 legs but once fully healed this will not be a handicap for her. She is not fully healed yet but already getting around so well. She has few stairs here but does them like a champ. She's crate trained and doing really great with potty training. If interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
