Batter is about 2 years old and 61 lbs. and housetrained. He is super sweet, loves children and other dogs, but is not a fan of cats. Batter is a happy lug who wants to be in a home where he can love his new family and be loved in return. He is neutered, current on shots and microchipped.FROM HIS FOSTER MOM:Batter is a great dog – he’s VERY sweet, quiet, funny and smart. He is also a REALLY athletic dog, and would do really wonderfully with agility training or being a great long walk/run companion. He knows “sit”, and we are working on “down”, “off” and “stay”, and he is very food motivated in his training. He waits patiently for his meals, and doesn’t gobble his food. He walks with a loose leash, but does clearly love picking up a scent with his nose and will pull when he tracks. He sleeps beautifully on his bed at night, is fine in the crate when we are not home, and is a wonderful home office companion during the day, sleeping on a bed near me.He is a young and goofy guy up for tons of fun, loves a lot of attention, and he does not know his size - older children may be best. He also has a tail that is ALWAYS wagging. We are working on his manners while greeting people – he loves absolutely everyone and desperately wants to show that love to you.
