Shirley is an amazing 7 year old mixed breed dog that was picked up by Animal Control in Alabama after her puppies had already been placed in rescue. She was petrified in the shelter so luckily, one of the staff there took her home while we worked on finding her a foster here in Maryland. She immediately began to blossom around the 6 dogs ranging from 6 lbs to 85 lbs. She also loved the 8 and 15 yr old children in the home and did great with everyone she met. She is now in a foster home here in Maryland where she is continuing to do really well. She is a very affectionate and calm dog that loves to be loved. What she now needs is a forever home where she can settle in permanently to begin the rest of her life. Shirley will make a great addition to any home that will give her the love and time to adjust to her new home. She will make a great companion to a lucky family.
