Look at the Love in this pup's eyes! Phoenix was found as a stray wandering aimlessly in a neighborhood in Conroe, TX. He was over the moon happy when two teenage boys leashed him up and took him to a volunteer's home. The boys named him Phoenix, just like the immortal bird; this pup was prepared to rise again!Phoenix was very underweight when he was first found, but that has been resolved with food! Easy-peasy - this boy was starving! He is now a chubby 71lbs.Phoenix is a well-adjusted young adult at 3 years old. He is crate trained and house broken, a female dog would be preferred for him. Phoenix is eager to please and would make an amazing family pet for an active family. Phoenix loves to go on walks and car rides, he is a good boy getting bathed, he absolutely loves to lay behind the gate and watch the world go by when outside. The ideal home for Phoenix would have a safe and secure fenced in yard, an active owner to walk/run and play outdoors with or someone to play ball with.
