Roxy is thought to be a 7 month old rottweiler/heeler mix. Her foster parents have this to say: She is good with dogs of all sizes. She has not been around our cats. I honestly don't know how she is with them, my cats don't want to be around her, lol. She is very active and has a lot of energy. She loves to.play with toys and spends time playing in a small kiddy pool outside. I think she will be okay around children but I suggest they be older due to Roxy's energy. I don't want little kids knocked down or scratched if jumped on. Roxy is very loving and likes to cuddle. She likes car rides, playing fetch, and she likes having bath. She is doing good with potty training but does need a routine to be 100% house trained. She is very smart and catches on with training, she just needs some patience and consistency. She sleeps in her kennel all night long. Once you feel she is house trained enough, she would probably like to have free roam and possibly sleep in a human bed. I recommend a harness for walking on a leash to have better control over her. We have not walked her on a leash. She will be a good walking/running companion with a little time. If you want an active dog for your active family, Roxy would be a great fit!Roxy's $300 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration.
