The ideal candidate should have law firm experience, excellent writing and oral advocacy skills, and preferably clerkship or court experience. Duties:Assume responsibility for pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and arguing motionsConduct legal research and analysis on various litigation mattersDraft and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and briefsPrepare for and participate in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediationsManage case files and client communications effectivelyAssist senior attorneys with case strategy and developmentCollaborate with partners and other attorneys on case assignmentsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and legal trends Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in Washington state2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm settingStrong writing and oral advocacy skillsAbility to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlinesClerkship or court experience is a plus Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Active license to practice law in Washington state Skills:Excellent writing and oral advocacy skillsProficiency in legal research and analysisStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEffective communication and interpersonal skills This Amlaw firm stands out among its peers as having a commitment to innovation, work-life balance, and friendly firm culture.
