Job Summary: The Marketing Student Intern position is a paid internship available for Summer 2024. This is a dynamic role for a current student pursuing a degree in marketing. As a leading chemical manufacturer, Arcanum Infrastructure is looking for a talented individual who's both passionate about marketing and eager to gain hands-on experience in the chemical infrastructure industry over the summer. Local marketing students only, relocation not available for this role. In This Role, You Will : Support the creation of a marketing toolkit and materials including presentations, and digital content and brochures. Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies including web content and social media to promote Arcanum Infrastructure. Collaborate with the corporate team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives. Help organize and participate in industry events as needed. As needed, conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities. Provide general marketing and communications support to the corporate team as needed. What We Require: Excellent computer skills, strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams. Web design and implementation is an asset, PowerBI is a bonus. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications desired. Creative thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Interest in the chemical industry is a plus. Ability to build positive relationships with coworkers at all levels, vendors, and the public. Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines. Education Requirement: Currently enrolled in, and in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to wear necessary personal protection equipment (PPE) like hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, and other PPE required at the plant. Standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, up to 15 lbs. at times may be required. Ability to communicate clearly on the phone, via Teams, and in person. Ability to tolerate stress created by interruptions, multiple tasks, and loud noises while performing duties with a high level of efficiency.
