Volt is immediately hiring an experienced Warehouse Assistant in Carlsbad, Ca 1st shift 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday $18.50-19.50/hr As a Warehouse Associate: * Responsible for conducting logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory accordingly. * Load orders on trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and completing documentation and review labels for outgoing parcels. * Manage site warehouse and packing staff. * Approves and reviews time sheets. * Operate pallet jack and forklift. * Receiving and documenting merchandise. * Keeping inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting. * Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged items. * Ensuring all items are safely packed and labeled shipping. * Verify labels to ensure products are shipped to correct destination. * Planning, organizing, and directing activities. * Request to order new inventory items from purchasing. * Prepares, review, and processes legible and accurate forms and records. * This is a full time opportunity The ideal candidate will have: * Warehouse experience * High School Diploma or equivalent education required. * Stand-up forklift experience required * MS Office * Good knowledge about industry products and processes. * Excellent communication skills. * Knowledge of laws, codes, rules, policies, and regulations. * Able to meet customers hiring criteria * Pay rate $18.50-19.50/hr Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
