Summary We are an established center located in the Highlands. Highlands Community Ministries is hiring a fulltime Infant Teacher to add to our team. We are looking for someone experienced working with infants 6 weeks+ Applicant will be expected to provide a safe and nuturing environment, working in a room with 1 co- teachers and 7 little ones. Applicant should be someone that pays attention to detail, can multitask and is comfortable communicating with parents. Hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm Evenings and weekends off Duties ** Ability to focus on providing a positive and safe environment to the children** Ability to work in a team setting** Communication with parents** Demonstratee good judgement ** Implementing lesson plans to help children develop** Work as a team with the parent ** Follow center health and safety guideleines ** Someone that is able to focus on children while at work ** Someone who is flexible, every day is different when working with children Requirements ** High School Diploma or GED ( must have the physical copy)** Ability to pass a criminal background record check** Have a current TB test** Ability to read, write, and converse in English. ** Ability to effectively communicate with children, staff, parents, and others.** Ability to lift up to 35lbs and occasionally 50 lbs** Cooperates with and shows respect for co-workers at all levels. Nice To Haves ** Experience in working with infants.
