It's possible Hybrid from our downtown Chicago office / your Chicagoland home office James Hardie's Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is a key role within our global cybersecurity program. This role includes the oversight, coordination, communication, and management of incident response and remediation of cybersecurity incidents. The analyst will perform detection and investigate analysis for a variety of devices, computers, networks, and cloud:based services, including Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role is a technical subject matter expert in cyber defense and can determine the proper course of action in the event of a security incident. James Hardie's Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is a key role within our global cybersecurity program. This role includes the oversight, coordination, communication, and management of incident response and remediation of cybersecurity incidents. The analyst will perform detection and investigate analysis for a variety of devices, computers, networks, and cloud:based services, including Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role is a technical subject matter expert in cyber defense and can determine the proper course of action in the event of a security incident. What Youll Do: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Perform daily response operations and act as escalation point and subject matter expert during security incidents, including recovery activities. : Coordinate with technical teams across the global organization to implement necessary remediation actions following security incidents.: Produce incident status updates and closure reports to leadership based on active or after:action and/or lessons learned recommendations.: Continuously prepare for incident by updating and maintaining incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures.: Lead and participate in cyber related exercises such as table tops and cyber ranges.: Support threat hunts to identify adversaries and systemic threats on James Hardie network.: Support service provided vulnerability management. : This position may require after hours/on:call work.What Youll Bring: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: 5: 8+ years of progressive information security experience.: Advanced analytical skills across multiple technologies.: Experience with network security monitoring, SIEM and/or response related activities.: Experience with host:based detection and prevention suites. : Experience with host:centric tools for forensic collection and analysis.: Experience with network forensics and/or network security monitoring tools.: Experience in technical controls measurement and testing in an enterprise environment. : Knowledge of various security methodologies, solutions, and current trends.Preferred Qualifcations: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: GCIA, GCIH, or applicable experience in the Cybersecurity field. : Proficient in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Java, Python, etc.). : Strong Operating System Administration skills, including conceptual knowledge of OS internals and experience with core service types.: Experience in cloud environments is a plus.What You'll Receive: At James Hardie, we recognize that our success depends on our people.
