The Service Writer role welcomes customers to the service departement, performs an inspection of the customers bikes, gathers other imprtant data about the rider and use of the bike and recommends service. Service Writers also perform simple while you wait repairs when needed. Duties Greet and engage customersPerform Bike Mart's Multi Point InspectionGather date from the customerEnter customer data in the POSSchedule repairsAnswer phone callsPerform basic repairs Requirements Service Writers should have the following-Working knowledge of bicyclesCustomer service skillsSales skillsAbility to think on their feet in a fast paced environmentExcellent attention to detailGreat communication skills Benefits A competitive benefits package including store discount and flexible scheduling is available to all associates.
