Together, we are on a quest to change banking for good.As a Senior Analyst on the stress test forecasting team, you will push the boundaries of forecasting as you measure the financial impact from movements in the economic environment. The ideal candidate will provide strong financial leadership across the entire P&L, be an analytical thinker/problem solver, and have the ability to synthesize complex subject matter to tell a story. The role will emphasize problem-solving, communication, and a strong focus on results in order to successfully navigate various scenario gaming exercises. Responsibilities: Partner with leadership and business teams to assess the financial implications of various macroeconomic scenarios on the Retail portfolioArticulate outcomes of analysis and insights to senior managementDevelop presentations to communicate results to senior leadership audiencesEffectively manage deliverables under tight timelinesPartner with tech team to automate and enhance processesLead the financial forecasting of the Income Statement for CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) and scenario gaming purposesProject Management of Retail CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) ProcessLeverage technology (Python, SQL) to automate models and processesDevelop and manage documentation and presentation of financial resultsFinancial forecasting and analytics to support variance analysis and model improvementsIdentify and enable continuous improvements across the team to drive efficiencies Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 2 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in financial analysisExperience using Google Sheets & SlidesExperience in Python and SQLExperience in financial services industryExperience in complex financial modelingExcellent analytical skills and experience in variance analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skills At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
