8/5/2023Zuko II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Zuko! I am a 2.5 year old handsome brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to not getting along with other dogs in the home. If not around the dogs in the home, I tolerate dogs as long as they don’t come close to me. Because of me not getting along with other dogs, I should be an only dog in the home. It is said that I am active, smart, protective, playful, and nervous. If I do not know people, I am very cautious and guarded and can nip if another dog is present. I must have a slow introduction to adults and kids to help with my comfort. Currently there are 3 children in my home ages 12-19 years. I do not live with a cat so it is unsure if I am feline friendly. I am a smart boy and am house trained, crate trained, and know basic commands! It was discovered I have an allergy to chicken, so my family feeds me salmon. At night I sleep in the laundry room and when I must be left alone, I am fine. When I am outdoors, I have good behaviour and do not dig or jump fences/gates. I do get afraid of new people until I am comfortable and know they are my friends. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, chasing bubbles, and rope toys. My current owners say I am a very sweet dog.
