Lola von Lohra is a beautiful, 9-10 month-old, long-haired German Shepherd. Lovable Lola is a happy, goofy girl with an easygoing personality. She starts off her day excited and ready for her walk and greets the world with a wagging tail. A happy demeanor with a wagging tail is how she greets other dogs, and we think she'd love another playful pup in the home. In her playgroups, she is comfortable and sociable. Once she has explored the yard, she goes into instant play mode and invites the other dogs to romp around and do zoomies. She's currently sharing space at the rescue with other friendly pups. With people she is sweet and loving. She just loves attention and taking treats gently after showing off her “sit.” With her charm and enthusiasm, Lola will be the cup of coffee and pep to your step on a dreary day. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
