Mika came to us via our daughter's co-worker who had nine puppies and couldn't take care of them all, or have time to adopt them all out. We agreed to take one puppy, named her Mika, with the goal of getting her up to date on shots, worming, etc., socialize her, and potty and leash train her in preparation for adopting her out to a loving home.We have had Mika about two weeks. She is now 15 weeks old. She is adjusting well and is on her way to potty training and walking on a leash. She is learning both and does still use pee pee pads to augment her potty training. She does go outside, but is not 100% yet. We continue to work on it.Mika prefers women, but she is fine with males once she gets acquainted. She is reserved around strangers, but warms up quickly. She gets along great with our 6 year old female Staffie. She is very sweet and snuggly and soft and loves to play.She needs a loving forever home, as we cannot take on another dog at this stage of our lives.
