ASCP certification preferred.32 years working in an acute care facility.42 years of Microbiology experience required. Nice-To-Haves 1Experience with Joint Commission requirements2Strong communication skills3Experience with Quality assurance procedures. Job Description The Medical Lab Scientist (Med Tech) performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. This position is a working Supervisor position for Microbiology. Responsible for the day to day operations of the department. Responsible for regulatory compliance. Minimum Education: Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.Minimum Experience: 2 years working in acute care facility.Licensure: MLS or equivalent. ASCP Certified preferred. This is a full-time position.
