Hi, my name is Portia - previously known as ‘Porch Kitty’. Before my luxurious life here at furball I lived outside on a porch, but I needed love and furball has provided me that and so much more. At first I can be a little shy, but once you get me going I’m a complete lover! Belly rubs are my kind of thing - they make me feel special! I am a licker and will lick you to tell you I love you. I enjoy sitting up high gazing out the window. I have excellent litter box habits and I am great with other cats. With time, patience, and love I am going to make a great addition to someone’s family. Come meet me between 1-5pm to see if I would be a good match for your family! I am fully vetted: spayed, FIV&FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!! Adoption fees vary from $50.00 to 150.00. You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us. We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).Shelter locationOur visiting hours are from 1-5pm every day.
