OverviewStryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in Lancaster County, operates a growing plastic injection molding facility in West Lampeter Township. We produce plastic components for car batteries and have a stable and growing customer base. As an essential business we continue to thrive during this economic downturn, and we are expanding our teams. This is a 1st shift position (Monday-Friday, 7am - 3pm)Responsibilities Troubleshooting including but not limited to machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, automation equipment, hot plate weld assembly, pressure decay testing, high voltage dielectric testing and hydraulic/electric molding machines. Take ownership of the automation aspects of our processes. Work closely with plastic process engineers to identify problems, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding machine. Increase production speed at the current quality requirements and uptime. Program changes as required by continuing improvement and new product systems implementation. Validate equipment calibration procedures. Update and Develop equipment calibration procedures. Update and create electrical drawings as required. Follow all Environmental, Health & safety as they apply to facilities & work area. Understand and follow the required safety guidelines such as lockout/tag out use of PPE. Qualifications Self -motivated with ability to work with little to no supervision. Strong oral, written, computer and communication skills. High degree of electrical knowledge and a strong mechanical aptitude. Solve issues pertaining to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic & mechanical operations. Exhibit ability to commission and troubleshoot equipment using applicable software. Prove understanding of robotic control systems. Able to make major source code changes as required for continuous improvement projects. Demonstrate ability to read, interpret, and create electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as they relate to existing equipment.
