Job Description: The Cloud Solutions Architect (Data) develops and oversees cloud solutions to enhance our data management systems, propel advanced analytics initiatives and facilitate development of groundbreaking data products. This role requires expertise in optimizing data pipelines, implementing machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights, overseeing data platforms, and requires in-depth knowledge of Oracle systems and Azure cloud services to support data-driven decision-making. Cloud Data Solutions Design, Development, & Integration - 45% Design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud data architectures, including the selection of appropriate services and technologies. Design and deploy data solutions focusing on advanced analytic capabilities and fabric computing. Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the cloud and managing the migration of data to cloud platforms. Manage the deployment of cloud-centric data solutions. Develop a structured approach for the implementation and application of machine learning models. Implement strategies for the migration, storage, and handling of data within the cloud framework. Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud applications and services to ensure optimal responsiveness, availability, and reliability. Enterprise Data Delivery & Platform Management - 30% Oversee and enhance data solutions to ensure efficient and scalable data storage and access. Regularly assess systems to adapt to evolving data requirements and trends. Deploy robust monitoring mechanisms to oversee model effectiveness, guaranteeing stability and dependability. Ensure all data infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and robust, guaranteeing uninterrupted operations and maintaining data integrity. Data Advocate - 20% Partner with internal teams and business stakeholders to effectively gather requirements and fulfill data requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system performance, provide technical guidance, and drive alignment towards business needs. Champion best practices, tools, and technologies across teams. Stay up to date with emerging data management and activation, best practices, and industry trends to drive innovation and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data solutions. Compliance & Documentation - 5% Implement and maintain security protocols, ensuring data quality, and regulatory compliance with industry and MNAO standards. Adhere to industry compliance standards and data quality benchmarks. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, infrastructures, and best practices for transparency and reproducibility. Qualifications and Other Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience required. 5 - 7+ years of experience in Big Data Technologies, Predictive Analytics Frameworks, Cloud Computing Platforms, Data Architecture Design, DevOps, and Automation. 5+ years of delivering solutions in a formal IT environment where a governed software or systems development lifecycle is adhered to. 2+ years of experience supporting IT applications and working with both on-shore and off-shore resources. Experience in developing and refining large-scale data processing pipelines and complex data architectures. Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks. Experience supporting and collaborating with diverse teams across various functions in a fast-paced setting. Experience working with senior stakeholders and non-technical business leaders. Proven track record in the following: Extensive working knowledge of API or Stream based data extraction processes. Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases. Skilled in developing data pipelines integrating a range of business platforms such as Salesforce and Workday. Proficient in coding and scripting languages (e.g., Python). Proficient in conducting in-depth analysis of both in-house and external data and workflows to address precise business queries and uncover areas for enhancement. Proficiency with Oracle Data Warehouse and Oracle Data Integrator. Managing large-scale data infrastructures and deploying ML models. Preferred but not required: IT support experience in the automotive/OEM industry. Training/Certification: Certifications in Oracle and Azure platforms preferred, but not required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance. Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and automation tools. Knowledge of Analytic/BI tool like Oracle Analytical Services, OBIEE, PowerBI, etc. Must be analytical and a problem solver with the ability to identify problems and/or cause-effect relationships; identify key issues; secure relevant information from all appropriate sources; identify possible root causes of problems and develop and implement corrective actions for resolution. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential. Must be able to establish a course of action for self and others/department to accomplish specific goals; must plan and prioritize proper assignments of personnel and/or appropriate allocation of resources. Capability to work with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and iteration. Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.
