Fornasetti Umbrella Stand (Vintage 1960's)

Description:
This conch, sea shell and fish themed Umbrella Stand was designed by the famous illustrator and furniture maker Piero Fornasetti in late 1950's or early 1960's. Constructed of metal with brass rim and stenciled illustration. Original vintage Fornasetti mark on base (see photos).The piece is in excellent condition outside, showing some minor scratches on the rim. Inside the bottom has some rust from use but is solid. Very minor rust in some spots on the bottom exterior which I have shown in a close up photo. Look at the photos for all information about the condition of this rare and unusual item.Measures 22.5" high and 10.5" across.Let me know if you have any questions.
