Oregon Freeze Dry, makers of Mountain House, currently has openings for Processing Operators. This position will perform a variety of tasks necessary for preparation, processing and packaging of food and non-food products. If you are interested, apply today and JOIN THE ADVENTURE! Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate food processing machinery, involving set up and tear down Direct crew activities (4 - 6 crew members) Food processing room cleaning / sanitizing Ensure process/product quality is maintained Communicate with packaging crews, coordinators and/or supervisors Qualifications: Previous experience with production processes or equipment preferred Previous leadership experience (formal or informal) Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential Ability to follow instructions and accurately complete documentation in a timely manner is required Must have reliable transportation to travel between company locations Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts (6:45 am – 7 pm and/or 6:45 pm – 7 am), including weekends and holidays Hourly pay: $21.00 (see chart below) Estimated Weekly Earnings &Effective Hourly Rate for Hours Worked POSITION Processing Line Operator EFFECTIVE RATE Regular Hourly Rate: $ 21.00 Overtime Hourly Rate: $ 31.50 SCHEDULED HOURS Based on 84 hr two-week pay period (70 reg & 14 OT) Weekly Avg Scheduled Regular Hours: 35 Weekly Avg Scheduled Overtime Hours: 7 WEEKLY ESTIMATED EARNINGS Weekly Estimated Regular Earnings: $ 375.00 Weekly Estimated Overtime Earnings: $ 192.94 Total Weekly Estimated Earnings: $ 927.94 EFFECTIVE HOURLY RATE, WEEKLY "Effective" Hourly Rate Comparable to Jobs w/o Built-in OT (standard 40-hr work week): $ 22.56 Working schedule: Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM / Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM MON TUE WED THUR FRI SAT SUN Week 1 Off Off Work Work Off Off Off Week 2 Work Work Off Off Work Work Work Oregon Freeze Dry wholeheartedly supports Equality and Diversity in employment and opposes all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.
