Summary The Housatonic Child Care Center's educational program is designed to help children develop socially, cognitively, physically, and emotionally in a nurturing and safe environment that offers children a flexible structure of indoor and outdoor play, individual and group activities, varied language activities, music, movement, arts and crafts, cooking, and field trips.We strive to provide the highest quality of care for children between the ages of 12 weeks and 5 years, promote school readiness and socialization, support our staff in their development, and reflect well on the town of Salisbury.We are looking for qualified and flexible teachers to join our team. Duties More information will be given when interviewing Requirements Must have a cheerful, enthusiastic, patient, and creative attitude.Must have a sincere desire to work with children and in the field of Early Childhood.Must be able to work well with others and in a teamMust be able to pass a CT background check.A high school diploma or GED is required.1+ years of related experience preferred, but not necessary Nice To Haves Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related preferred, but not necessary Benefits We offer competitive rates and benefits:-PTO-Vacation -Health Insurance-Life Insurance - Matching IRA-Free Tuition for staff children (When space is available)-Assistance with college classes through the Office of Early Childhood
