Well hi there! My name is Frankie! I am five years old and weigh 57 pounds of wiggles. I came into the shelter with a pretty big ouchie on my head but my new friends here at IACS are helping me recover and I already feel so much better! I am a little timid at first, as the shelter is a big place and a little intimidating, but I do warm up quickly. Probably even quicker if you`ve got some treats or cheese. After I warm up a bit I`m all wiggles and energetic. I`d love a home of my own with a person who loves me for me so I can love them back with my whole heart. Could thaqt be you? It`s unknown how I behave around cats, kids or dogs so a slow and proper introduction is going to set everyone up for succes. It`s hard to meet new people and pets quickly after leaving the shelter. I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a 14 day cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can foster an animal for 2 weeks, slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision.
