*Couper is not your typical dog, please read his bio below before reaching out!*Meet Couper! He's definitely cute, but he's not an easy-going guy. And he's looking for a special home who can treat him like the special pup that he is. Couper has lots of things he enjoys, like walks outside, rolling in the dirt for a dust bath, lounging in the sun, and napping. But he also has things he doesn't like, such as: new people, handling, other animals, and people getting in his space without an invitation. And sometimes he will show his displeasure with his teeth. Couper does have a bite history, but our staff is working hard on helping him be a comfortable and confident dog, but this will be a lifelong project for an adopter. Couper is looking for a home with just adults and no other animals. He is also not a fan of living in busy areas and is not a fit for an apartment or condo, or city living.
