Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.Provides Clinical and Administrative support through the management and direction of CNS, NP and secretarial support staff specific to the psychiatric divisions. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Implements a variety of structured, non-structured and/or individual treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of patients on psychiatry or chemical dependency services, inpatient units and day hospital or outpatient services. Responsibilities Provides therapeutic programming to improve the functional capabilities of patients. Plans and documents patient care based on assessment of patients needs, diagnosis, level of functioning, and age specific needs. Formulates written patient assessment and treatment plan recommendations. Establishes treatment goals and documents patients progress toward goals.
