Summary: The Associate Scientist is responsible for developing proficiency in all aspects and functions of NWF product development including but not limited to developing, duplicating and cost reducing seasonings and/or coatings to meet customer needs.Essential Functions: Complete all aspects of NWF training.Follow R&D standards and maintain NWF procedures.Develop proficiency in developing and duplicating products.Begin independent account responsibility.Develop a positive working relationship with both internal and external customers.Develop knowledge in ingredient functionality.Build and maintain a working relationship with vendors and suppliers.Maintain accurate project and product records.Pass internal audits.Display team focus and collaboration.Perform other duties or special projects as needed.Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
