Adopt Ricky a Brindle Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed dog in Indianapolis

Little Ricky is a sweet guy who loves to play. He is a year old and around 35lbs. He is still a puppy and plays a little rough at times, but just wants to be friends with the other animals and people. Ricky loves other dogs and kids but still needs work on not playing so rough. He has improved on play biting with verbal reminders and has made a lot of progress on potty training. He does well in his crate and will whine when he needs to go out and potty. Ricky thinks everyone is a new playmate. He’s still working on learning what he can and can’t chew, but he is easily redirected with a “no” and a chew toy. He has pretty good recall but if he sees a friend, he will run to them. He is also doing better on a leash! Ricky was nervous when he first went on car ride but calms down after awhile. He will sit for his treats and he loves hugs and giving kisses. This crazy pup does not know a stranger. His foster mom says that when he first came to her house, he came in like he had been there before and made himself right at home.
