Req. ID:22782 JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES): :Perform cut and etch on welded parts:Shim weld tooling:Understanding of blueprint/assembly print reading.:Building and disassemble weld cells:Basic Pneumatic skills:Basic Machining:MIG welding:Adjusting sensors (advance and retract based on HMI ):Touching up 1 to 2 Robots types :Basic Robot programing:Reading weld prints:Willing to travel up to 40 of time to customer sites: Basic understanding of HMI and PLC interaction with the robots and cell functions.: Basic troubleshooting skills for robot issues and electrical issues. (wire stick, minor alarms, blown fuses and sensor issues on tooling.) : Capable sending individuals on the road to finish open issue lists and install tooling changes using prints and work together with controls group to finish jobs abroad without supervision.: Basic programming of material handling and spot welding robots using grippers and spot guns. : Capable of shimming tools to customer gages and can interpret CMM data to make adjustments to tooling.:Maintain a skills inventory score indicative of a level II or higher technician BASIC REQUIREMENTS : : High school, GED, Vocational High School or Technical College or equivalent experience.: 2:3 years workable experience as a Robot Technician : RIA certified (Basic robot technician): Intermediate robot knowledge of 1 type of robot and at least 1 type of welder.
