Our large staff of caregivers and home health aides are experienced and screened to be able to provide non-skilled and non-medical services for seniors. Job Summary: The Caregiver and EVV Supervision Associate supports the business by ensuring caregivers deliver exceptional care according to company policy and procedure. This position ensures the company regularly supervises our caregivers to ensure compliance with federal, state, payor, and company policy and procedure. The Caregiver and EVV Supervision Associate acts as an ambassador of the company, while educating and supporting caregivers on company policies and procedures during home visits. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for conducting supervision visits of direct care workers (DCWs) and providing actionable feedback in-the-moment Responsible for in-person and telephonic supervision of caregivers and clients in the field according to company policies and procedures Completes professional, comprehensive, accurate, and timely documentation related to supervision visits, incident reports, and other matters. Responsible for providing in-person caregiver education, training, and support related to Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), as required. Responsible for installing Fixed Object Beacon Devices (FOB Device) according to company policy and procedure and ensuring caregivers are properly trained. Responsible for identifying and reporting potential safety and compliance issues, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with the nursing department to mitigate risks or provide adequate support to clients and caregivers. Collaborate with Marketing Teams and Coordination Departments to share any findings, questions, concerns, or any other follow-up required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Relevant experience in direct client care in healthcare or home health care industry is preferred. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and engage effectively with clients and healthcare professionals. Empathy and sensitivity to understand clients' needs and concerns and provide appropriate solutions. Knowledge of home health care services, regulations, and payer sources (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance). Persuasive presentation skills to engage and inspire caregivers to do-the-right-thing and follow company policies and procedures. Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet targets. Ability to travel within the designated territory to meet with office staff, clients, or employees. Valid driver’s license and clean driving history Physical Demands: Frequently drive a vehicle to visit clients and caregivers. Must be able to utilize computer or smart device to conduct work as appropriate. Work Environment: The Caregiver and EVV Supervision Associate primarily works in the field, engaging with caregivers, clients, family members, and collaborating with office staff. The role involves driving from patient home-to-home and occasional office work to complete administrative tasks. The work schedule may vary, including occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate caregivers who do not work during regular business hours. These services include (but are not limited to) assistance with self-administration of medications, personal care such as assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding, homemaking such as assistance with household tasks housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and preparation, and transportation, companionship, respite care such as assistance and support provided to the family; and other non-skilled services. We conduct criminal background checks when required on all staff. We also conduct physicals and tuberculosis screenings for all direct care workers and office staff with direct consumer contact upon hiring and on a yearly basis. The direct care workers of the Company are required to complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation, or a state certification program. This training includes information regarding personal hygiene, safe transfer techniques, infection control, and basic nutrition. All direct care workers of our company also receive supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer or verification of prior experience.
