~foster or foster to adopt~Hello Lovely People, My name is Lacey and I'm a beautiful orange and white gal with gorgeous markings, including an adorable orange and white striped tail! I've been told that not only am I beautiful, but I have a ton of personality! If you are looking for an affectionate, easy-going, true "lap cat," you need look no further. Sit down and I'll quickly come over to your lap, nuzzle my head against your arm as I ask for head and cheek rubs. In return, I will gaze at you with the most grateful eyes you've ever seen and the sweetest purr you've ever heard. I might even melt your heart like the orange creamsicle some of my suitors say I resemble, tee-hee! Born in 2012, I may have just hit middle-age, but you sure wouldn't know it by my alertness and energy. I do need to be in a quiet, stress-free environment where I am the only pet and where my guardians can keep a close watch on my right eye. I am currently in foster, but I would love to soon find my furever home!Adoption processOur adoption fees are as follows:Kittens up to six months are $100Cats seven months to seven years are $75Senior cats eight years and older are $50FIV+ and FELV cats up to 7 years $25FIV+ and FELV+ cats 8 years and up $15Puppies under the age of six months are $200Dogs over six months and under eight years are $125Dogs over eight years of age are $75 All animals come spayed/neutered, are current on vaccinations including rabies, and have been micro-chipped prior to adoption. The application process can take several days, depending on how long it takes us to get in contact with your references, your landlord, and your veterinarian. Once your application has been approved we will call you and let you know, and set up an approximate pick up time and date. This can take several days, so please be patient. If your application is denied, you will not receive a call.Shelter locationDue to Covid-19, visits are by appointment only.
