We rescued Pițu in Watsonville, CA, in October 2020. For two years, he lived an indoor-outdoor life with my husband and me, and our dog Addie (an 8-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer). Then we moved to Chicago for new jobs and welcomed our son in January of 2023. Pițu is a very affectionate cat. He is well-behaved with our dog and son. However, Addie has not acclimated well to having Pițu as a brother; while she is gentle with him, her anxiety has soared. Moreover, since our son's birth, we are feeling more stretched and are needing to simplify our family life. Our work is very demanding and we are traveling more to see our families. If you can provide an indoor-outdoor experience, you can expect many "gifts" from Pițu, as he is an avid hunter. Indoors, he thrives with affection from his family. We look forward to sharing more about him with you! P.S. Pițu's name is endearing version of "kitten" in Romanian. According to veterinary estimations, Pițu is four years old.
