Meet our super silly and playful puppy named Tommy Pickles! Tommy Pickles came to our shelter after he was dumped in our city's dog park in the middle of the night. Tommy is a super friendly guy who loves everyone! We think he is about 7-8 months old at this time. Tommy is a very active and high energy guy who would love to find an active family! He is a total PUPPY at this time! This means he will need all the training such as housetraining, obedience training, leash training ect. He is a happy boy who loves to be affectionate and get attention. We are thinking he will grow to be about 60 lbs or more. Tommy Pickles is good with other dogs and seems fine with cats as well. He is a very jumpy boy and he can still get mouthy at times. He can go to a home with children 12 years old and older with large dog experience. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
