Home built log splitter. Power plant is a Ford industrial 200 straight 6 with a repurposed hydraulic pump from a beet lifter, set on 2 I beams, welded together for strength. The hydraulic ram is a Will-rich ram will a 2' throw. Has a lift as well for lifting those really big logs. When I built it I over engineered it to last. I used to split ash and cottonwood that were 30" across or bigger, and it'll split railroad ties. New heavy duty trailer tires and a fresh oil change. Very economical as the motor only needs to run at idle to give it the power it needs.
