General Job DescriptionWe re looking for a Sanitation Technician in our Fulfillment Center to maintain building and equipment in a proper sanitation condition, under the direction of the Sanitation Manager, Supervisor or Lead/Specialist.Major Duties And ResponsibilitiesObjectives of this RoleResponsible for cleaning building and equipment following a Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)Understand and use a variety of Sanitation Chemicals to effectively complete assigned tasksPerform Chemical concentration and verify resultsKnow and take steps to correct sanitizer concentration above Food Contact concentrationsRecognize soil types and use proper chemicals for removalProperly use all sanitation equipment safelyRecognize and differentiate PH levels for adjusting and neutralizing solutionsQualifications For The JobSkills and RequirementsMechanical aptitude with the capability to learn and follow instructions for disassembly and re-assemble of food processing equipment.Ability to demonstrate excellent safety work habits at all timesExperience in OSHA programsAbility to complete and obtain various safety certifications within the first yearExperience with PIT Equipment and the ability to complete and obtain various certifications within the first 6 monthsExperience with Sanitation Chemicals as well as the ability to complete and obtain various sanitation certificates within the first yearClear and concise communicator, verbal and writtenAbility to work calmly and effectively under pressureAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentMust be able to work as a member of a teamExperience in a food-manufacturing environment preferredSatisfactory drug and background screening following condition offerOvertime, weekend and holiday work, as requiredExperience / Education1 - 3 years experience in a food manufacturing environment preferredHigh School EducationWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, pet insurance and legal insurance401(k) with company match that is immediately vestedLife and ADD insuranceOpportunities for career growth with a dynamic companyTime away from work
