Our work environments are designed with specific themes in mind to achieve a consistent global identity that reflects our values: light, collaboration, elements of nature and symmetry.General Summary:This position is responsible for supporting the creation, management, improvement, and maintenance of HMF subvention programs to maximize sales efficiency and meet other company objectives. The position requires solid analytical skills and the ability to work under limited supervision in a team environment. The team member should be able to work effectively with other functional areas, assisting the Product Development Sales Operations and OEM teams to continuously improve products, programs, pricing, and incentives. This position requires excellent communication skills. The team member should have experience with financial forecasting models for a captive finance company or other automotive lender.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Generate, maintain and enhance Pricing for Subvention Programs:* Create pricing files for all subvention programs.* Collaborate and review pricing files with OEM Incentive team and facilitate program approval.* Support the creation and launch of new incentive programs as needed.* Adhere to KSOX key control tasks related to pricing generation.* Serve as subject matter expert for IT related enhancements impacting incentive programs.* Support Sales Operations with program launch activities, including validation of bulletins/pricing files.2. Support Sales Operations with program launch activities, including validation of bulletins/pricing files.and Forecasting* Provide Penetration forecasts and financial impact of Subvention programs (Cost per Unit, overall cost, etc.) to both HCA and HMA accurately and timely.* Serve as the point of contact for any penetration and cost per unit questions for HMA and HCA.* Identify areas of opportunity to enhance product and pricing capabilities & competitiveness.3. Pricing Strategy* Develop a solid understanding of Captive and OEM strategy, business, and objectives. * Understand products, programs, pricing and incentives.* Help to assess current effectiveness. * Provide feedback on how to optimize current programs in order to achieve company objectives.* Recommend program changes based on competitive analysis.4. People Management* Foster engagement with team, department, and company.* Support associate career development.* Serve as mentor and coach to associate to increase competencies.5. Complete ad-hoc analyses, assignments and reporting as requested by management and/or executives.Knowledge and Skills:* Strong results-oriented drive coupled with reputation for integrity, creativity and good judgment.* Strong team player with positive, can-do, and respectful attitude. Willing and able to learn and adapt.* Solid analytical and execution skills complemented by problem solving skills.* Knowledge of automotive industry and understanding of retail, lease and commercial financing.* Exceptional attention to detail and quality, Experience with financial calculation and analytical frameworks to compare financial products and pricing.* Expert skills with Excel, SAS database, SQL and other analysis tools.* Ability to pivot and work in a dynamic and quick-pace environment with extended work hours.* Solid written communication skills must understand technical terms related to retail, lease, and commercial financing. Must be able to communicate complex terms and concepts to management both visually (PowerPoint) and in writing.* Must have the ability to challenge, when appropriate, existing practices.Qualifications* 5+ years of product development and pricing experience, preferably with an auto finance, mortgage, credit card or banking organization.* Captive auto finance experience preferred.* Major consulting firm / auto industry experience a plus.* Expert skill with PIN navigator/Explorer, Autocount preferred.* Bachelor's degree required. BA/BS Marketing / Sales Management / Business/Statistics (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education) from a highly rated school; Master's degree preferred.Physical Requirements and Working Condition:Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels.
