I have a 2005 Chevy impala for sale. It was my everyday car for the last two years up until last night when the transmission went out. It took me and my kids to doctors appointments and back and forth to work. What's wrong with it other than the transmission: -Needs three new tires we recently got a new one a couple months back for the front passenger side -It has a couple dents from me hitting a deer with it last year at the beginning of july. - driver window doesn't roll down due to a peice that we needed to get that is $15 but we never got it -can't roll the back passenger side window down with the driver side buttons but it does roll down when you use the button for the window in the back -does have some peeling paint on the roof on passenger front side Good: -Radio works -has a spot light on it -a.c. and heat work -decent gas mileage -motor still runs strong ( v6 3800 series 2 motor) -blinkers, taillights, brake lights, and headlights work - it used to be a old police car so it has security mood on it so all the lights shut off. - i have the title - it will move. It still goes into reverse and 1st but it will not move in drive We can't afford to fix it right now because i just had a baby a month ago and I'm starting a new job this coming week. I wanted to give someone a chance to buy it and see if they wanted to fix it before i took it to the scrape yard because it is a great vehicle. I've had it for almost two years and my dad had it for almost a year. He went back and forth to Colorado without any problems with it. This car was my only way to drive my kids to their doctors appointments and mine and back and forth to work due to my fiancee having a manual single cab truck. So I'm trying to get at least $800 for it. The lowest I will go is $700. I bought it for $1,500. My father thinks it could be the transmission filter needs replaced or the York converter went out. I know it will make someone a great car if the transmission is fixed. Please message me as I do not answer numbers I dont know if you are interested in it.
