This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs largest house builders. The Role: You will report to the Construction Director Be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction development site Ensuring the provision of safe, efficient and cost effective works at all times Number 1 on site Coordinating labour and resources on site Manage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock Ensuring that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality Undertaking company directed quality control procedures and inspections Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector Carrying out toolbox talks or similar on: site briefings Liaising proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved Key Criteria: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid certificate BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar Minimum 5 years experience as a Site / Senior Site Manager Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation Able to work with a high degree of accuracy My client has been nationally recognised as a 5 star house builder Sam for more information.
