Role and Responsibilities: Full Time position supporting the CEC Task Order filling the associate logistician position with some local travel (all within 3-4 hours drive time). Duties include: configuration management, integrated logistics support, inventory, procurement, and technical documentation support. The position is located at Virginia Beach, VA. Position Duties: •Either Associate’s degree and minimum of 1-3 years of experience or no degree with a minimum of 4-6 years of logistical experience.•Must be able to provide coordination of NSWC PHD review comments for CEC Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).•Must be able to prepare action items, track completion assigned at CM meetings, and provide In-Process Action reports.•Must be able to acquire proficiency with OneTouch online system.•Must be able to provide research and submit Configuration Overhaul Planning (COP) data via the Configuration Data Manager Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).•Must be able to identify and resolve logistics discrepancies and track and source all high priority requisitions.•Must be able to apply CM/logistics processes for documentation updates/revisions and change control management.•Must be able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians, and Logisticians.•Must be able to manage inventory and coordinate shipments of crucial equipment required for mission success.•Must be able to schedule and facilitate maintenance at different location sites to maintain safety and security requirements.•Must be able to take responsibility for action items assigned, complete the actions, and provide status.•Must have a valid driver’s license with own transportation and able to travel locally (0 -25%).•Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a government clearance.•Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.•Must be able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed technical monthly reports.•Must have experience with Microsoft Office suitePreferred Skills:•US Navy A/C School Mandatory Physical Requirements: •Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
