Meet ChopsSo this is Chops. This 10-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier (Pittie Mix) may have never seen better days. He was adopted 9 years ago and then 2 weeks ago abandoned at a neighborhood dog park with a bag of food, a dog bed, and his leash. His tags told us his name - and the number on the back side was purposefully scratched off. But we may never know the years of neglect this poor guy has suffered through. His nails were so long and curled under that he couldn't walk. He was scratching so badly that he was bleeding from his back and tail. His skin is inflamed, and his bowed legs are aching - but through all of this, he came to us with a wagging tail. Eager for love.If can you open your heart to foster or adopt this old man for the rest of his life he will thank you with sweet smiles and kisses. Simply laying in the grass and watching the birds makes him happy.For more information, please email us and request an application.
