The Project Manager is responsible for collaborating with one or more teams to organize the various components needed to initiate, run, and complete major organization-wide initiatives. The Project Manager will develop and support project management tools and practices to be disseminated throughout the organization. This role creates project plans, coordinates the implementation and execution of those plans, monitors their progress, and reports on and evaluates outcomes. This role will be at the heart of driving productive change at RPA by integrating traditional project management with the unique needs and challenges of a nonprofit organization built to support philanthropic initiatives.Role Core AccountabilitiesProject PlansAdvise on the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, encompassing resource allocation, capacity tracking and risk management strategies. Identify all activities, and appropriately organize to deliver program and project objectives, follow with the organization's project and program management framework, and comply with the organization's wider governance structure and processes. Utilize appropriate project management methodologies and software tools to facilitate efficient execution and track progress.Project scope DefinitionPlan and lead the delivery of a range of information gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultation activities and specify, negotiate, and agree on project deliverables.Project Risk and Issue ManagementManage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating these where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these.Project AssuranceManage the delivery of assurance reviews within a project, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified to offer senior stakeholders confidence that the project can be completed successfully.Needs ManagementPlan and coordinate the identification, and elicitation of needs; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project; and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable.Project ReviewManage the project review process; provide stakeholders with accurate and relevant information and key recommendations at agreed review points to enable them to evaluate progress and agree on the change.Systems and ProcessesContribute to the identification and implementation of innovative systems and processes, optimizing workflows and enhancing operational efficiency. Conduct process analyses, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and recommend effective solutions for improvement.
