This is a ten-week paid-internship program with cohorts available in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. The summer session is between June 3 and August 9, 2024. The goal of this program is to help further develop your communication, leadership, and professional skills while gaining valuable real-world experience in a work environment for a dynamic organization. As an Intern, you will work closely with a Department Lead who will provide you with hands-on projects and daily tasks to help you become career ready. A People and Culture Intern Advisor for support and guidance. Resume and interview workshops to help prepare you to hit the workforce. Lunch and learn opportunities with C-suite leaders and other members of the Camillo Companies leadership team. Presentation training and preparation workshops. Final Internship Business Development Project & Presentation The Final Project will cover a business development area of growth for Camillo Companies or recommendations for a specific area of the business selected by the executive management team. Interested candidates should apply online at www.camillocompanies.com/careers JOB DESCRIPTION Company : Camillo Companies Job Title : Legal Data Analyst Intern Department : Legal Reports to : VP Associate General Counsel Status : Non-Exempt, Hourly Job Summary The primary responsibilities of a Legal Data Analyst - Intern will include gathering, interpreting, and analyzing legal data, such as legal spending, and contract data. They use statistical tools to mine complex data sets and generate reports that assist lawyers in making strategic decisions. The Legal Data Analyst - Intern, will also be responsible for building and maintaining databases, develop data collection systems, and work to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Duties/Responsibilities: Analyze legal data, identify patterns, and extract meaningful conclusions to support legal strategies and decision-making. Gather and review contracts, proposals, other legal documents, and other relevant data sources. Maintain and update legal research resources, including databases and reference materials. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and develop effective data collection and management processes. Support the development and implementation of automated solutions and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in data analysis. Monitor and assess trends and patterns in legal data, providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders. Create presentations and reports for stakeholders, translating legal data into clear and actionable insights. Design and build data models to interpret patterns and trends in legal information. Track changes to legal data and assess the impact on reporting and analysis. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by conducting quality checks and collaborating with relevant teams. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. Required Skills/Abilities: The Camillo Companies Legal Department is looking for someone with high attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effective as well as the ability to successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands. An individual with strong problem-solving skills, who takes initiative and uses good judgment, with excellent follow-up skills will thrive in our department. The successful candidate will recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such information as confidential. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) or certification in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
