California Audio Labs Tempest Tube CD Player For PartsFor sale, we have an extremely rare, non working California Audio Labs Tempest Tube CD Player For Parts. We acquired this player in a small collection. Apparently, this is the first tube CD player ever made. The unit is in good physical shape, but when we plugged it in we got no response. Also, the six tubes are missing from the player. Included with the player is the original remote, and the remote receiver that plugs into the back of the unit. We hope that someone can bring this player back to life as it's in overall very good physical condition. We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
