Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a plumber specialist for an international (OCONUS) assignment. International travel is required for this position. Duties include:Servicing of customers' water/drainage systems on the job siteOrdering materials, tools and instrumentsPreparing reports and maintaining records on equipment and preventive maintenanceCompleting required paper work timely and accuratelyTroubleshooting failures both in service center and on customer locationsInstalling, maintaining and repairing electronic devices related to plumbing systems.Practicing and promoting safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, and other required regulationsAssuring that equipment is operating in accordance with manufacture's specificationsServicing water softener and check for proper operation of hot water and steam boilersServicing systems, entire buildingServicing all building components Operating a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient mannerReading diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and manufacture's specifications and comprehend information to accomplish assigned tasksReading directions and labels of chemicals as well as work request and requirementsMaintaining confidentiality#mfcvetsOCONUSreqs Basic Qualifications: Successful completion of an apprenticeship with a qualified plumberProven experience working as a plumber in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and equipmentWorking knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing workExceptional customer service and client focus Desired Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsFamiliar with plumbing tools and equipmentExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skillsValid plumbing license to practice the profession Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
