In on Consignment- Tess is an 11-year-old grade Tennessee Walker gaited mare. She was born on 7/2/12. She stands at 14.2 hh and has a petite build so she will do best with a smaller rider. Tess is very broke to ride and is a been-there-done-that trail horse with smooth gaits. No buck, kick, bite, rear, or bolt. She has been camping in Forestville, crosses water, is traffic safe, crosses bridges, has been in parades, carries flags, and has been rode by a younger girl in the past. She is one who you can let sit and then ride like she never had a day off. She is not spooky and stands tied for grooming, saddling, vet/ farrier, and fly spray. She has been tied to a pick line while camping. She easily takes a bit and rides great in a snaffle bit. She will load and unload in a straight or slant horse trailer and hauls like a dream. She is not mareish and is easy to catch. Tess loves attention and is the first to greet you in the pasture. She received a 5-way Merck Prestige vaccine on April 5th and had Coggins pulled on May 19th of this year. She received a rabies vaccine last September. Her teeth were floated in June of 2022. She was last wormed on May 25th. She is barefoot and her hooves were last trimmed on May 26th, she stands quiet for the farrier. She does not have any known health issues and does not require any maintenance.
