Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Litigation - Class Actions - Defense,Litigation - Securities Litigation - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Seattle is seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably from an AmLaw 100 firm, to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with a strong academic background and class action defense experience being highly preferred. Duties:Handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; participating in digital/virtual conference calls; participating in meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned. Requirements:3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.Superior writing, research, and analytical skills.Experience with class action defense is highly preferred.Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.Previous federal clerkship is a plus. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the State Bar. Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle multiple matters and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office suite.
