Hops and Spring were found roaming the streets of Ocoee together when they were still very young rabbits. Fortunately, they were brought to safety by concerned humans. In foster care they were separated for a bit because they are a boy and a girl - bunnies can start reproducing at a very young age! Now that they are both fixed they are together again and their romance continues. These two are seeking to join a kind and loving household where they can spend their lives together. Hops, a handsome spotted rabbit, is the more outgoing of the two. He has an expressive personality and knows how to get what he wants! When it's pellet time he will do a little dance to encourage prompt delivery of his food dish. Spring, a cinnamon-colored beauty, is more on the shy side - but both rabbits love human attention and will often sit right next to their foster mom and melt into her side. They enjoy food, in particular leafy lettuce, cilantro and lemongrass, and are great hay eaters. They are also fond of placing their toys into their water bowl - maybe they are playing house and washing their dishes? These two lovebuns would love to find their forever home. We adopt to indoor homes only! Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.##1897911##Adoption processFor those that want to bond a new rabbit with an existing rabbit, we conduct bonding events where the home rabbit can meet several rabbits to find a potential match. We work with the adopting family to help ensure that the rabbits bond. We take back the adoptive rabbit if there is not a match. Our adoption agreement specifies that we will take any adopted rabbit back, should the home situation change in the future.Shelter locationWe are a foster-based rescue where our available animals are kept in private homes. You can see our rabbits online, then make an appointment to meet the rabbit(s) you select. From time-to-time, we conduct adoption events where you can meet multiple rabbits. Because of RHDV2, these events have been paused.
