As a Brand Ambassador, you'll be the face of our brand, focusing on customer care, building relationships, and acting as a cannabis guide for customers. Your role centers on creating an unparalleled experience for our neighbors and contributing to our community-driven ethos. RESPONSIBILITIES Customer & Sales Excellence: Offer a tailored Customer Experience through active listening, genuine curiosity, and expert brand and product knowledge. Demonstrate open body language, and enthusiasm and create an engaging environment. Demonstrate flexibility with regard to different customer needs; remain calm, professional, and collected at all times. Be proactive in furthering your own development and identifying ways to grow your skill set. Build lasting relationships with customers, serving as a knowledgeable guide in their cannabis journey. Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the essence of our community-oriented values. Drive sales through genuine engagement and product knowledge. Utilize the Point of Sale system effectively to enhance the overall sales process. Operational Excellence: Handle all medicated products compliantly, adhering to MA Cannabis Control Commission regulations at all times. Fulfill product orders with 100% accuracy by following all state, Metrc, and CCC guidelines. Ensure adherence to state and local laws, company policies, and procedures. Collaborate with the team to maintain compliance in all aspects of dispensary operations. Assists store leadership with barcoding, relabeling, and ensuring all products are sales floor ready. Supports the team by updating the menu and ensuring product information is accurate and up to date. A genuine curiosity to learn MA regulations, and remain vigilant in updates from the Cannabis Control Commission, METRC, and Dutchie. Team Journey: Foster a growth mindset and curiosity to learn about products, cannabis regulations and a passion for driving your own development. Actively participate in community events and initiatives to promote our brand and values. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment reflective of our community commitment. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to accommodate dispensary hours. Collaborate with Assistant Managers & General Manager to support store success. Execute other assigned duties contributing to the overall dispensary operation. Consistently show up to each shift with a positive attitude, ready to contribute to the team. Adhere to dress code policies and arrive every day with a fresh appearance. Contribute and engage in staff meetings and training sessions. Remain open to change and seek feedback from your team to grow your skills and add value to your shop. SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED Organization Close Attention to Detail Time Management Skills Excellent Communication Teamwork Problem Solving Skills REQUIREMENTS/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Demonstrable experience in retail , hospitality, or similar customer service roles Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility. Must be able to secure MA Agent Card Registration with the MA Cannabis Compliance Board Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be 21 years of age or older, and be able to pass an extensive background check Must be authorized to work in the United States PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to use a computer for extended periods of time Able to move about a typical retail environment Able to perform general cleaning and administrative activities Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Regular and on-time attendance Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
