We adopted Jeanie at the Philly SPCA in April this year. At our first glance she tilted her head at us and gave us licks through the enclosure and we just knew she was for us. We met her and brought her home the same day. She was very affectionate and cuddly from the first day we got her. After a couple weeks of adjusting and warming up to us she never leaves our side. She loves constant attention and giving love, and of course absolutely loves to play. Unfortunately our lease is ending in October this year and we won't be able to renew it because our roommate is moving out and won't be able to afford it. We have to go to a new apartment and unfortunately most apartments don't allow dogs her size and breed. Both me and my girlfriend could never bring her back to the Shelter. We just want to see her go to a home where she'll get all the love and attention that she deserves.
