Adopt Draper a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - with White Australian Shepherd /

We adopted Draper from a shelter in VA at 8 weeks old. His mother and siblings were found under a trailer very sick in the cold. Sadly, His mother and 4 of his siblings died. Draper is incredibly smart and loving. He has anxiety that we have just now started treating at 2 years old. We have an older dog in the home and they have occasional issues but in general cohabitate. Draper also plays with friends dogs in our back yard. Draper does have a bite history that we feel is our fault in putting him in situations that push his comfort level. He bit a 10 year old boy that is our cousins child. The child wanted to pet Draper and we thought Draper would be okay but he ultimately felt threatened. On a different time, he bit my husband as my husband was walking him in our urban neighborhood and pulled Draper back from barking at a walker with a baby in a chest carrier. Draper is not aggressive day to day. He needs a more rural home with more confident trainers than me.
